Q. Where are you located?
I am based in Central California and am a transplant from Southern California, which I still travel to for photo shoots referred by previous clients.
Q. What is your style?
My style is a blend of photojournalism and candid photography to tell your story of the event. I capture special moments to remember, the beauty, and the uniqueness of your day. I work hard to capture those moment you will want to remember and share for a long time. I also enjoy capturing formal poses as well as traditional images, scheduling these photo opts to not interfer with the day's event.
If it is family, group or individual photos, I like to photograph on the location of client's choice as much as possible, making the event fun and sometimes entertaining. The pace is usually easy going but not to exceed an hour or two.
Q. What is expected?
We will sit down and talk about what you want. The conversation might start with a check-off sheet of the types of photos you might want. You can bring me examples and I will show you some of my past work. When we are finished with the conversation, we will put everything in writing to make sure we are both under the same understanding. The day of the shooting we hope for a relaxed and good experience. If applicable, we might have a pre-shooting event such as lunch in the park or a casual studio sitting.
Q. What is the payment schedule?
Payment schedules are made on a case-by-case base, although a deposit is required to hold a date.
Q. How soon after the event can we see our images?
Because I am freelance, sometimes this can take a couple weeks (which for me is a couple weekends) to process the photos and have a proofs ready for viewing. Special situations are considered. Proofs can be online or hardcopy.
